Mentoro.hr and this website are real, live projects. The other three are concepts for fictional Croatian businesses, one for each package: open them and click through them like a real website. The concepts are in Croatian, just as they would be for a local business.

mentoro.hr: a website for a tutoring business

The first Mentoro web project was the website of my own tutoring and mentoring business. It is where I tested the whole process I now offer to clients: from planning and design to legal pages, the contact form and publishing on Cloudflare.

The goal

The business offers five tutoring and mentoring services for healthcare students and professionals. The website needed to present each service with its price, allow inquiries through a form without publishing a phone number, make it clear that it offers tutoring and does not write papers for students, and be legally compliant for a business presenting its services online.

Key decisions

An “academic manuscript” look: services and prices are laid out like a book's table of contents, so they read as a list rather than a block of text.
A 3D handbook that turns its pages when you drag with a mouse or finger.
Price and inquiry button right below the heading, visible on phones without scrolling.
A static website on Cloudflare, with no WordPress and no database. The contact form works through a small program on Cloudflare that sends inquiries by email.
No cookies and no external scripts, so no cookie banner is needed.
