Terms of service

1. Services

Mentoro builds and updates static websites that present tradespeople and small businesses, and provides the additional services listed in the price list. The services do not include online shops or systems with online payments.

2. Inquiry, quote and contract

An inquiry sent through the contact form or by email is not an order and creates no obligation. I reply by email with a quote stating the package, the scope of work (number of pages and add-ons), the price, the deadline and the payment method. The contract is concluded when the client confirms acceptance of the quote by email. The contract is concluded in Croatian or, at the client's request, in English, and the agreement remains on record in the email correspondence available to both parties.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in euros and are final. The business is not registered for VAT. VAT is not charged under Article 90(1) of the Croatian VAT Act. The price of building a website is a one-off payment. Content updates are charged per hour of work or through the annual plan, and hosting from the second year is charged annually, according to the price list. The annual update plan is paid once and is valid for 12 months from payment; it covers up to 12 updates with a total duration of up to 8 hours, and any unused part does not carry over to the next period. The payment method and deadline are stated in the quote. An invoice is issued for every paid service. The price does not include third-party fees, e.g. for a paid domain (.com or an additional .hr domain), which the client pays directly to the provider.

4. Content and materials

Mentoro writes the website texts based on the client's notes, or edits texts provided by the client; this is included in the package price, and the client approves the texts before launch. The client provides photos, the logo and business details. The client guarantees that they have the right to use the materials provided and is responsible for the accuracy of the information about their business, prices and services. Before launch, the client reviews the website and requests changes; the number of revisions before launch is stated in the package description.

5. Legal texts on the client's website

The privacy notice and legal information on the client's website are prepared according to the regulations and the information provided by the client, but they do not constitute legal advice. The client may have them reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

6. Hosting and third-party services

Websites are hosted on Cloudflare, with a domain registered to the client. The first year of hosting is included in the package price. From the second year, hosting is charged according to the price list (€30 per year); if the client does not wish to renew hosting with Mentoro, they can move the website to another hosting provider themselves. If the client has no domain, Mentoro submits a request, on the client's behalf and with their consent, for the free .hr domain to which the business is entitled; the domain holder is the client. The availability and terms of these services depend on their providers.

7. Support after launch

Every package includes 30 days of free support and training from the day the website goes live: answers to questions about the website and explanations of how to use it. Questions can be sent by email or as a message on Instagram.

8. Ownership and rights to the website

After payment, the client receives all website files and the right to use and modify them without limitation for the purposes of their business. Mentoro may show the website among its work, unless the client objects.

9. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and the contract was concluded at a distance (e.g. by email), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day the contract was concluded, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Croatian Consumer Protection Act. Businesses ordering the service for their professional activity do not have this right.

To exercise this right, it is enough to send a clear statement by email or post before the deadline expires. You may use the form below, but you are not obliged to. If you withdraw, I will refund all payments received no later than 14 days after receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise.

If you expressly requested that work begin before the withdrawal period expires and then withdraw from the contract, you must pay a proportionate part of the price for the service provided up to the time of withdrawal. If the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.

10. Complaints

You can submit a complaint about the service in writing, by email to obrtmentoro@gmail.com or by post to the registered office. I will confirm receipt of your complaint without delay and send a written reply within 15 days of receiving it.

The texts, graphics, logo and design of the website https://web.mentoro.hr are protected by copyright and may not be copied or used without written permission.
